A Wide Inner Ring Ball Bearing has an internal design that is basically the same as a Single Row Ball Bearing. The inner ring is extended to supply additional shaft support and is locked to the shaft by set screws or an eccentric self-locking collar. Wide inner ring bearings are available in cylindrical (straight O.D.), spherical (round O.D), and relubricated versions.
